Introduction to Wakeboarding (Boat)

Wake boarding is one of the fastest growing Extreme Sports in the world and lots of fun. Wake boarding behind a boat is still most people's preferred option, there is more variation and boats create an important ingredient in the world of wake boarding which is...errr, wake.

Our Discover Wake boarding is a great introduction to the sport; you will be given expert instruction by professionals who will share all sorts of tips and advice to get you up on the board as quickly as possible.

Itinerary / Highlights

* One on-one instruction with a qualified instructor
* All equipment is provided

Your experience will consist of two 10 - 15 minute 'pulls' - this is most definitely enough as an introduction to the sport and your arms will know about it the next day. You will be provided with all the equipments that you need and have an instructor on hand to make sure you get the most from your sessions and progress as fast as possible.

Restrictions:

Age Restrictions: Min age is 8 in most locations. (Under 14's must be accompanied by a parent / guardian)
At Scotland / Manchester Locations: Min age is 6.

All participants must be comfortable in the water and able to swim.

Duration:
Your experience will take anything up to three hours, it is best to leave a good amount of time between pulls.

What to Wear / Equipment:
All equipment such as board, wetsuit and buoyancy aid will be provided. You should take your swim suit and towel; feel free to take your own wetsuit if you own one.

Group Size / Spectators:
Spectators are welcome at most facilities and refreshments will be available, please confirm when booking. Max of 4 people to a group

Weather:
Weather does not usually affect Wake boarding, please call the centre if you have any doubts.

Availability:
Most facilities operate very limited schedules in the winter, with the main season running from April to November. Rochdale closes at the end of October.
