The Casa das Estevas is located in the beautiful, unspoilt traditional fishing village of Salema, near Lagos on Portugal’s Western Algarve. We have designed, constructed and furnished the villa to offer the ultimate in comfort and luxury, with no expense spared.

Salema is a world of peaceful co-existence. Fishermen mend their nets and pots while holidaymakers enjoy the warm sunshine, fine sand and crystal-clear sea. The large, gently sloping Blue Flag beach is a paradise to swim, play, relax and sunbathe.

Salema is only 1 hour by car from Faro Airport, yet a world away in terms of the package holidays and over-development in the central Algarve.

Salema and the Western Algarve have something to offer all ages and interests. The village provides the perfect base for a memorable holiday at any time of the year. All 5 bedrooms are bright and airy, each with a patio door opening to a terrace with panoramic views of the sea and coastline. Luxurious divan beds can be arranged as twins or doubles. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom.

The spacious kitchen is fully equipped and includes a double sink, 2 electric ovens, a 90cm gas hob, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, ceramic tiles, oak units and granite worktops.

The large open-plan lounge/dining room boasts a log fire, flat-screen television, DVD, hi-fi and original works of art. The comfortable sofas invite you to curl up and gaze out across the ocean through the patio doors which lead to the main balcony. Stairs wind down to the large pool, surrounding terrace, BBQ area and extensive games room with table tennis, table football, pool and darts.

The villa allows for complete privacy, offering a tranquil, secluded haven with extensive open and shaded balconies and terraces for ‘indoor/outdoor’ living.

The spacious poolside terrace features a large private swimming pool, sun loungers and purpose-built gas BBQ and dining area. There is an outside shower and separate toilet. This area is crafted with beautiful ceramic tiles and traditional stone, providing a safe and secluded haven for all.

The villa boasts a majestic roof terrace that captures the sun until late evening with astonishing panoramic views.
